PSDCF is passionate about the power of trees to transform places and strengthen communities, putting the people of Plymouth and South Devon at the heart of the project. We are working alongside community groups, charities, schools and social housing organisations to empower people from diverse backgrounds to get involved.

Forest Rising

Join the uprising. Find out how young people are creating a legacy in their city. Forest Rising is a group of young people (aged 16 - 28 years old) working alongside the project to deliver tree schemes, make decisions and empower the next generation of woodland ambassadors.

Community Tree Nursery

Volunteer with us. We are sowing the seeds for a sustainable future at our Community Tree Nursery. Be part of collecting and processing seeds, growing trees and maintaining the home of the Plymouth and South Devon Community Forest Project.

Plant Trees

Plant trees with us! PSDCF runs open Community Tree Planting days every planting season during winter between October and March. We welcome every one to join us and be part of growing our Community Forest. Join our Whatsapp Channel to keep up to date with planting days. 

Take Action

Apply for funding to get planting, or let us know of a space that needs some trees! PSDCF offers guidance and funding for woodland creation and maintenance. We also welcome residents recommending places to plant more trees.
